Mafia Boss
One cop, one mafia boss and secret signals: the bluffing drinking game for 4 to 8 people.
How to play
Reduce the deck to as many cards as there are players – including exactly one Ace and one Jack. Deal one card each.
The Jack is the cop and lays the card face up. The Ace is the mafia boss, who must secretly signal to another player (a wink, sticking out their tongue …) without the cop noticing.
Whoever thinks they got the signal says: “The deal is done!” Now the cop must guess the mafia boss. The suspect turns over their card.
- If the cop is right, the boss drinks one sip per player not yet exposed.
- If the boss was only exposed thanks to hints from others, the boss drinks three sips.
- If the cop is wrong, the cop drinks one sip per wrongly suspected player.
Agree on drinks and amounts before you start. The game works just as well without alcohol.
