Buffalo Club

From the Wild West: in the Buffalo Club you only drink left-handed – all night.

Also known as: Buffalo · Buffalo Club

  • From 2 players
  • No equipment

How do you play Buffalo Club?

Your group declares itself a Buffalo Club. From now on, members may only drink with their left hand.

Whoever gets caught drinking with the right hand drinks an agreed amount.

Variations

  • Buffalo call: whoever catches someone with the wrong hand shouts “Buffalo!” – only then does the catch count.
  • Different rule: instead of the left hand, the rule could be “never put your glass fully down” or “always clink first”.
  • Club meeting: new members are welcomed with a small initiation ceremony.

Tips

The Buffalo Club runs alongside any other game – that’s exactly why it’s fun all evening, ideal for house parties and festivals.

Agree on drinks and amounts before you start. The game works just as well without alcohol.
