The simplest card drinking game ever: everyone draws a card, lowest card drinks.
How to play
Agree on drink and amount first. Shuffle, everyone gets one card.
Whoever has the lowest card drinks. Reshuffle, next round.
Variations
- Highest card gives out: the highest card may also hand out a sip, so every round has winners and losers.
- Ties: if two players share the lowest card, both draw again. Whoever loses again drinks double.
- With suits: hearts and diamonds count one point more – a luck game turns into a bit of maths.
Tips
Down Under is perfect as a warm-up or between longer games because a round takes seconds. Want a calmer night? Play with water as the penalty.
