Pick a player, watch the match, drink every time the commentator names them.
How to play
Before kick-off, everyone picks an outfield player. Every time the commentator says your player’s name, you drink.
If your player is substituted, you take over the substitute. The game ends with the final whistle.
More rules
- Your team scores: everyone else drinks.
- Yellow card: whoever picked the player takes a sip; a second one for a red.
- Offside: the whole group takes a sip.
Tips
Draw players by lot before kick-off so not everyone picks the striker. At half-time: drink water and grab a snack.
Warning: Strikers and captains get mentioned a lot – better sips than shots.
Agree on drinks and amounts before you start. The game works just as well without alcohol.
