Quarters
One of the oldest drinking game classics: bounce a coin off the table into a glass.
How to play
Put a shot glass in the middle of the table. Take turns bouncing a coin off the table so it lands in the glass.
Whoever scores decides who drinks.
Variations
- Speed round: two players bounce at two glasses at once; whoever scores first passes their glass on.
- Three in a row: hit three times in a row and you may invent a rule.
- With cups: beginners use a wider cup instead of a shot glass.
Tips
A hard, smooth table is a must – coins don’t bounce on tablecloths. A larger coin works best, such as a quarter or 2-euro coin.
Agree on drinks and amounts before you start. The game works just as well without alcohol.
