How do you play Staring Contest?
Sit close, facing each other, and look into each other’s eyes.
Whoever blinks drinks. Whoever blinks twice in a row takes off a piece of clothing.
Variations
- With distractions: the others may try to make the two blink or laugh – without touching them.
- Tournament: in bigger groups everyone plays everyone; whoever wins the most duels picks the next game.
- No clothing stake: whoever blinks twice reveals a truth instead.
Tips
Sit comfortably and close enough that nobody has to look away. And remember: stakes only count as long as both of you are up for it.
Agree on drinks and amounts before you start. The game works just as well without alcohol.
