How do you play Threes?
Take turns rolling a die.
- Whoever rolls the first 3 picks the drink.
- Whoever rolls the second 3 picks the amount.
- Whoever rolls the third 3 drinks it.
Variations
- With two dice: any total of 3 or any die showing a 3 counts – the game moves much faster.
- Swap roles: whoever rolls the third 3 may decide that the first person drinks too.
- Small amounts: the second person may set at most three sips.
Tips
Jot down who has already rolled a 3 – after a few rounds nobody remembers otherwise.
Agree on drinks and amounts before you start. The game works just as well without alcohol.
